Dutch Oven Cooking Classes in Montana

I will be introducing you to Dutch Oven cooking; a primitive way of cooking that is not only fun, but it will allow you to impress your family and friends. Participants will be helping with all the cooking with my direction and guidance.

This is a hands-on class, upon arrival you will be helping prepare the main protein dish, a vegetable, bread from scratch, and homemade dessert. All Dutch Ovens, food ingredients, tools, step-by-step recipes and instructions will be provided. While dinner is cooking, you will be invited to relax in our garden area and visit our mini farm animals.

You will be shown how to prepare a Dutch Oven meal from start to finish over an open fire pit outdoors. 

 At the end of the class each person will be invited to sit at a picnic table in the great outdoors surrounded by beautiful mountain views and enjoy the meal that you have helped prepare.

 If the weather is bad, we will be teaching indoors.

No prior Dutch Oven cooking experience is necessary.

Basic cooking experience is recommended, but not required.
